Working with Others

The Environmental Cooperative strives to engage people in conservation issues using a trans-disciplinary approach. We work with and support a variety of local and regional organizations and networks to facilitate a diverse, holistic approach to environmental conservation and education.

Some of our current affiliates and collaborators include:

The Environmental Monitoring and Management Alliance (EMMA)

As a partner and coordinating member, we hope to enhance monitoring efforts at Vassar and inform land management and conservation in the region. The EMMA coordination office is located in the Vassar Barns.

Student Conservation Association (SCA)

SCA’s mission to build the next generation of conservation leaders and inspire lifelong stewardship of the environment and communities by engaging young people in hands-on service to the land. The Hudson Valley Regional Corps offices are housed in the Vassar Barns.
